Thoughts From Just Another Passer By

Lord be with us in our preparations Amen

Lord thank you! Amen

Lord I thank you for your beauty. For your love and for your care.  Amen

Lord turn what we have learnt into  Action  Opportunities Movement  Glory for you and your Kingdom Amen  I pray this prayer in the light that next week a large majority of full time undergraduate students here are going on mission. The team I am part of is going to Northern Ireland but we also have teams going to Berkhamstead, Newham, Northallerton and Stoke. Please pray for our community as why turn away from studying for God to putting this into action. There will be more post to follow about mission in Northern Ireland.  

Lord I remember  Amen 

Lord I turn my face towards your Son,  Let my roots and foundation be solid in you. Amen

Lord make me a light house, Help me be amongst the storms of life,  being your light.  Amen

Inspire me father,  Inspire me to dance for you To dance and dwell among your living waters  Reaching out to share these with all. Inspire me father Inspire me to stay and drink To see your beauty to know your love Reaching out to share these with all.  Inspire me father,  My heart is yours to fill My feet are yours to move My hands are yours to serve.  Amen (This is my friend Emma when she came to visit in the summer, the time was about 4 in the morning and the beach is in Mundesly, my favourite beach. Lord untangle the mess I've made in my life It is only your mighty power that can undo some knots.  If they are to be left Lord let me leave this mess behind by your grace, Oh God divine Amen

Lord when life seems overcast and cloudy you remind me of your beauty of a summer day Amen

Lord give me your focus Allow me to see your work in this world.  Move me Lord to work for you Send me Lord to do your will Amen

 Father God I've travelled through another field,  and found this gate for travelling on  You have placed their a poppy for me to remember I pray that at each gate you never let me forget. That it's by your grace alone I push forward You as ever, my goal.  Amen

Lord I want to thank you for communion,  That you feed us.  That you sit with us. Lord I thank you that you walk among your church  That we can meet with you. I thank you for your body - broken for me. I thank you for your blood - spilt for me. Amen

Lord be my light. be my colour my salvation  help me step out of the darkness out of the shadows Lord be my light Amen 

Help me spread your fire Lord Amen

Lord help me step out Help me move out in to your world. help me to be your feet,  your hands, Help me move for you God.  Amen

Lord you've made me your light This I can't hide. Even when I wobble and shake you make beautiful my every mistake Amen

Father God,  Today I am all yours  Tomorrow too.  take what I can give and help me serve this world for you I wish to be fisher of men  for your kingdom to grow I will take up my cross  a let your seeds be sown. Amen This photo is a piece of stain glass at Cliff College with the motto on it "Christ for all, All for Christ."
